Regular Season Round 11: Amchit - Tadamon 107-91

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Amchit as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Amchit defeated 6th ranked Tadamon at home 107-91. The game was mostly controlled by Amchit. Tadamon managed to win fourth quarter 29-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Amchit looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American-FYR Macedonian forward Jeremiah Massey (202-82, college: Kansas St.) who had a triple-double by scoring 19 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists. The former international swingman Fadi Khatib (199-79) chipped in 30 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard Hugh Robertson (198-89, college: S.Florida) produced 31 points and 4 assists and international forward Bachir Ammoury (198-83) added 16 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Amchit (9-2) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Al Riyadi. Newly promoted Tadamon keeps the sixth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Homenetm. B. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
