Regular Season Round 41: Nassjo - Solna 82-61

Date: March 14, 2014
An interesting game took place in Nassjo where 6th ranked Solna Vikings (15-19) were upseton the court of ninth ranked Nassjo (8-26) 82-61 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Nassjo. Solna Vikings managed to win third quarter 14-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was American point guard James Washington (182-87, college: Middle Tenn.St.) who scored 29 points. Forward Kristian Ternell (199-92) chipped in 9 points and 6 rebounds. Turkish guard Erkan Inan (195-89) produced 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Greek center Stavros Toutziarakis (210-87) added 15 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nassjo maintains ninth place with 8-26 record. Loser Solna Vikings keep the sixth position with 19 games lost. Nassjo will meet bottom-ranked Eco Orebro (#10) on the road in the next round. Solna Vikings will play against LF Basket (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
