Second Stage Round 9: Boras II - Helsingborg 98-76

There was a small surprise when fourth ranked Boras II (6-4) smashed at home second-best Helsingborg (5-4) 98-76 on Saturday. Boras II dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Helsingborg's 32. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Mohamed Nefatti (196-84) who scored 30 points and 8 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field). Forward Hajzer Ismaili (202-94) chipped in 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Max Johansson (195-92) who recorded 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Felix Carlsson (193-95) added 12 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Five Boras II and four Helsingborg players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Boras II moved-up to third place. Helsingborg lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. Boras II will face Eskilstuna (#6) on the road in the next round. Helsingborg will play against Fryshuset in Stockholm and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
