Very predictable result when fifth ranked Winner/Limeira (18-10) won against at home 12th ranked Mogi (11-18) 81-67 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Winner/Limeira. Mogi managed to win fourth quarter 24-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Mogi to just 5 points in second quarter. Winner/Limeira made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Mogi turnovers. Strangely Mogi outrebounded Winner/Limeira 35-23 including a 15-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Mogi's coach rotated eleven players and allowed the starting five to rest. Winner/Limeira maintains fifth position with 18-10 record. Mogi lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth place with 18 games lost. Winner/Limeira will meet Vivo/Franca (#9) in the next round. Mogi will play against the league's leader Flamengo (#1) and hope to secure a win.
