The game in Tokyo supposed to be also worth to mention about. Fifth ranked Fujitsu RW (21-9) played at the court of 8th ranked Niigata (11-19). Fujitsu RW smashed Niigata 72-50. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Niigata. The game was mostly controlled by Fujitsu RW. Niigata was better in fourth quarter 15-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Niigata to just 5 points in second quarter. Fujitsu RW forced 19 Niigata turnovers. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. The former international forward Yoko Nagi (175-82) fired 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners.
