No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Tadamon (5-7) beat at home bottom-ranked Hoops Club (1-11) 82-76 on Sunday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. The winners were led by the former international power forward Jarrid Famous (209-88, college: S.Florida, agency: KMG Sports Management) who scored that evening 23 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Hugh Robertson (198-89, college: S.Florida) supported him with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Four Tadamon players scored in double figures. Tadamon's coach Marwan Khalil used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 36 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds by Palestinian center Sani Sakakini (204-88) did not help to save the game for Hoops Club. American point guard Ashton Gibbs (188-90, college: Pittsburgh, agency: Interperformances) added 9 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Tadamon moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Homenetm. B. Hoops Club lost seventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 11 games lost. Tadamon will meet higher ranked Al Moutahed (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Hoops Club will play against the league's leader Amchit (#1) and hope to win that game.
