Very expected game in Verona where 12th ranked Napoli Basket (11-14) was defeated by fifth ranked Tezenis VE (16-9) 86-74. Napoli Basket was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Tezenis VE made 20-of-24 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Napoli Basket was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for the former international swingman Giorgio Boscagin (196-83) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 8 rebounds.
