SerieA top team - Armani Milano (18-5) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Lottomatica Roma (14-9) 85-61. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Lottomatica Roma. The game without a history. Armani Milano led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a quality performance for the former international Nicolo Melli (205-91) who led the winners and scored 24 points and 6 rebounds. The former international guard Daniel Hackett (199-87, college: USC, agency: Two Points) accounted for 7 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists for the winning side. Four Armani Milano players scored in double figures. American-Nigerian forward Trevor Mbakwe (207-89, college: Minnesota) came up with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 15 rebounds and American swingman Quinton Hosley (201-84, college: Fresno St.) added 17 points respectively for Lottomatica Roma in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Armani Milano have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. They maintain first place with 18-5 record.
