Rather predictable result when leader Talje Knights (10-0) outscored at home 4th placed Eskilstuna (5-4) 96-72 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Talje Knights. Eskilstuna was better in second period 24-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Talje Knights dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Eskilstuna's 46. The best player for the winners was Adam Ramstedt (206-95) who scored 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Center Alexander Larsson (205-95) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Five Talje Knights players scored in double figures. Talje Knights' coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Hannes Widell (183-94) who recorded 21 points and 4 steals and forward Pontus Lennartsson (198-93) added 20 points respectively. Talje Knights have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with 10-0 record. Loser Eskilstuna keeps the fourth position with four games lost. Talje Knights will face Sanda Basket (#9) in Huskvarna in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Eskilstuna will play at home against Boras II (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
