Regular Season Round 25: FCM Ferentino - Lighthouse TR 75-55

There was a small surprise when ninth ranked FCM Ferentino (13-12) smashed at home 7th ranked Lighthouse TR (13-12) 75-55. It looked good early as Lighthouse TR took an 4-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then FCM Ferentino had a 26-16 second period charge getting the lead and Lighthouse TR was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 55-75. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Rodney Green (196-88, college: La Salle) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 8 rebounds. His fellow American import center William Mosley (202-89, college: Northwestern St., agency: Pro One Sports) contributed with 11 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. The former international power forward Andrea Renzi (209-89, agency: Players Group) answered with 10 points and 9 rebounds and power forward Patrick Baldassarre (200-86, agency: Players Group) added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Lighthouse TR. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. FCM Ferentino moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Lighthouse TR and CZG Veroli. FCM Ferentino will play against Fileni BPA Jesi (#14) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Lighthouse TR will play against Tezenis VE (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
