DNA Silver top team - Agrigento (20-5) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Ravenna (12-13) 88-65. The game without a history. Agrigento led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. American guard Kwame Vaughn (190-90, college: CS Fullerton) fired 23 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Naturalized Argentinian forward Albano Chiarastella (196-85) chipped in 9 points and 12 rebounds. American guard Adam Sollazzo (198-90, college: E.Tenn.St.) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import forward Michael Singletary (198-88, college: Texas Tech, agency: Three Eye Sports) added 12 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the thirteenth consecutive win for Agrigento. They maintain first place with 20-5 record. Newly promoted Ravenna dropped to the eleventh position with 13 games lost. They share it with Proger BLS. Agrigento will meet Roseto (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ravenna will play against Casalpusterlengo and hope to secure a win.
