The most exciting game of round 25 in the DNA Gold took place in Torino. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 3rd placed PMS Torino (16-9) to first ranked Trento (17-7) 70-69 on Sunday evening. PMS Torino was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 20-15 charge of Trento, which allowed them to win the game. Forward Davide Pascolo (201-90) fired 21 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American guard Brandon Triche (193-91, college: Syracuse) chipped in 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. International forward Stefano Mancinelli (204-83) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and American point guard Timothy Bowers (188-82, college: Mississippi St.) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Trento maintains first place with 17-7 record. Newly promoted PMS Torino keeps the third position with nine games lost. They share it with Tezenis VE and Angelico BI. Trento are looking forward to face Sigma Barcellona (#6) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. PMS Torino will play against CZG Veroli and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
