The biggest surprise of round 24 was guest WKK Wroclaw's (15-9) road victory over 5th ranked Start Lublin (14-10) 73-72 on Sunday evening. The guests trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 13-10 charge, which allowed them to win the game. WKK Wroclaw made 18-of-19 free shots (94.7 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was Rafal Niesobski (189-82) who scored 22 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Center Marcin Kolowca (209-87) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Patryk Pelka (202-89) who recorded 16 points and 6 rebounds and guard Grzegorz Mordzak (182-77) added 17 points respectively. WKK Wroclaw moved-up to fifth place. Start Lublin at the other side dropped to the sixth position with ten games lost. They share it with Wilki Morskie and Sokol Lancut. WKK Wroclaw are looking forward to face higher ranked MKS DG (#4) in Dabrowa Gornicza in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Start Lublin will play on the road against Astoria Bydg. in Bydgoszcz and is hoping to win this game.
