Rather expected game when 6th ranked Bnot Hertzeliya (6-15) lost on the road to fourth ranked Maccabi Ramat Hen (12-9) 91-78 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Maccabi Ramat Hen. Bnot Hertzeliya was better in third quarter 24-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Maccabi Ramat Hen looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. American players dominated also this game. Ashley Shields (180-85, college: SW Tenn.St.CC) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists. Swingman Karima Christmas (182-89, college: Duke) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Maccabi Ramat Hen players scored in double figures. Maccabi Ramat Hen's coach Ami Barda used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Chelsea Hopkins (173-90, college: San Diego St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Brooke Queenan (188-84, college: Boston Coll.) added 18 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Bnot Hertzeliya. Maccabi Ramat Hen moved-up to third place, which they share with Ramat Hasharon. Bnot Hertzeliya lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the sixth position with 15 games lost.
