An interesting game took place in Uberlandia where higher ranked Unitri (17-11) was upset on its own court by tenth ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru (14-13) 85-70. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Unitri. The game was mostly controlled by Paschoalotto/Bauru. Unitri was better in fourth quarter 20-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Paschoalotto/Bauru dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Unitri's 24 and made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. It was a good game for the former international power forward Murilo Becker (210-83) who led his team to a victory with 25 points and 7 rebounds. point guard Ricardo Fischer (185-91) contributed with 18 points and 4 assists for the winners. American Robert Day (197-82, college: W.Oregon) answered with 16 points and 6 rebounds and the former international Audrei Parisotto (195-84) added 17 points in the effort for Unitri. Paschoalotto/Bauru moved-up to ninth place. Unitri at the other side keeps the sixth position with 11 games lost. Paschoalotto/Bauru's next round opponent will be Vivo/Franca (#10) in Sao Paulo.
