The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Sodertalje Kings (31-4) on the court of fifth ranked Uppsala Basket on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by Uppsala Basket 78-71. It ended at the same time the 15-game winning streak of Sodertalje Kings. Sodertalje Kings were trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 18-9 charge of Uppsala Basket, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Sodertalje Kings' 22. They outrebounded Sodertalje Kings 42-22 including a 15-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Keith Wright (203-89, college: Harvard) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. His fellow American import point guard Thomas Jackson (175-80, college: Butler, agency: 011 Sports) contributed with 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Uppsala Basket players scored in double figures. Uppsala Basket's coach Kelly Grant used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard John Roberson (180-88, college: Texas Tech) answered with 25 points and 5 assists and international point guard Tobias Borg (184-93) added 19 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Sodertalje Kings. Uppsala Basket (21-15) have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain fifth place. Defending champion Sodertalje Kings still keep top position with four games lost.
