The most shocking disappointment of round 13 was only one-point a home defeat of their biggest opponent Al Riyadi (9-4) to third ranked Sagesse (10-3) 73-72 in the game for the second place. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 21-12 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. American center Chris Daniels (212-84, college: Limoges) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and international point guard Rodrigue Akl (187-88) chipped in 10 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. At the losing side Egyptian power forward Ahmad Ismail (205-76) responded with 17 points and 8 rebounds and international swingman Jean Abdel Nour (198-83) scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Sagesse and five Al Riyadi players scored in double figures. Sagesse have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. Defending champion Al Riyadi dropped to the third position with four games lost. They share it with Moutahed.
