Rather expected game in Aichi where 9th ranked Aishin Wings (8-24) were defeated by seventh ranked Toyota B SR (14-18) 73-65. Aishin Wings were ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 44-34 second half run of Toyota B SR. They made 16-of-18 charity shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Strangely Aishin Wings outrebounded Toyota B SR 101-83 including a 64-42 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three nailing 22 long-distance shots on high 61.1 percentage. Toyota B SR brought some defensive toughness making 202 blocks. 42 personal fouls committed by Aishin Wings helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Power forward Sari Osabe (174-87) nailed 24 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and guard Yoshie Watanabe (162-86) accounted for 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Toyota B SR players scored in double figures.
