There was no surprise when 10th ranked Djuro Djakovic (2-16) was crushed on the road by sixth ranked KK Zabok (11-7) 93-63 on Saturday. The game without a history. KK Zabok led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. KK Zabok outrebounded Djuro Djakovic 38-23 including a 34-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for KK Zabok especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.9 percentage. Forward Marin Zrnic (200-88) scored 20 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and center Antonio Vlaic (206-91) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four KK Zabok players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Matej Karlovic (200-89) with 11 points and 5 rebounds and naturalized Bosnian center Alen Trepalovac (214-85) scored 12 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. KK Zabok moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Jolly. Djuro Djakovic lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost.
