Very expected game when 16th ranked Saint-Brieuc (9-19) was crushed on the road by first ranked Monaco (24-2) 106-65 on Saturday. The game without a history. Monaco led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Saint-Brieuc's 52 and made 31-of-37 free shots (83.8 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Saint-Brieuc 102-67 including a 49-36 advantage in offensive rebounds. Monaco shot the lights out from three sinking 34 long-distance shots on high 65.4 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Saint-Brieuc's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Monaco made 22 blocks. It was a great evening for American-Nigerian Derrick Obasohan (199-81, college: Texas Arlington, agency: Beo Basket) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field).
