Second Stage Round 10: BG Lulea - Akropol 72-71

A very interesting game took place in Lulea. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked Akropol (4-6) to seventh ranked BG Lulea (3-6) 72-71 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Akropol. Akropol was ahead by 5 points at the halftime before a 36-30 second half run of BG Lulea. They outrebounded Akropol 46-34 including 16 on the offensive glass. Forward Denzel Andersson (202-96) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Marcus Grahn (187-95) supported him with 17 points. Even 14 points and 9 assists by point guard Jonatan Kebedom (175-90) did not help to save the game for Akropol. Swingman Mustafa Dibba (186-95) added 13 points and 11 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. BG Lulea maintains seventh position with 3-6 record. Akropol at the other side keeps the fifth place with six games lost. BG Lulea's next round opponent will be higher ranked KFUM Blackebergs (#4) in Vallingby and it may be quite challenging game.
