There was no surprise in Lund where 7th ranked 08 Stockholm (3-8) was crushed by fifth ranked IK Eos (6-5) 104-83 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by IK Eos. 08 Stockholm was better in second period 30-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Point guard Adnan Karovic (188-88) fired 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. FYR Macedonian-Icelandic forward Jovan Zdravevski (198-80) chipped in 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four IK Eos players scored in double figures. IK Eos' coach Axel Wallin felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Johan Westerlund (191-84) produced 24 points and 5 rebounds and guard Nils Hedstrom (190-83) added 17 points respectively for lost side. IK Eos have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Helsingborg. Newly promoted 08 Stockholm keeps the seventh position with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
