Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Sanda Basket (1-11) was defeated on the road by top-ranked Talje Knights (11-0) 72-63 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 39-27 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Talje Knights outrebounded Sanda Basket 43-20 including a 27-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Adam Ramstedt (206-95) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Center Alexander Larsson (205-95) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Four Talje Knights players scored in double figures. point guard Jordan Peltier (188-95) produced 13 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Alexander Russom (191-95) added 12 points respectively for lost side. Sanda Basket's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Talje Knights have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 11-0 record. Sanda Basket lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 11 games lost. Talje Knights will face Helsingborg (#5) on the road in the next round. Sanda Basket will play against the league's second-placed Fryshuset (#2) in Stockholm and hope to win that game.
