Aistes-LSU needed overtime to edge Fortuna in the crucial second game of the series. Aistes-LSU therefore avoided relegation and forced the third and decisive game of the series. The game was mostly controlled by Aistes-LSU. Fortuna was better in third quarter 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where Fortuna used huge pressure winning it 11-9 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 7-17. Aistes-LSU made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. Strangely Fortuna outrebounded Aistes-LSU 51-36 including 36 on the defensive glass. Forward Jolanta Marmiene (181-79) scored 31 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and international power forward Laura Svaryte (190-92) chipped in 18 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. International power forward Egle Siksniute (198-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and international Monika Grigalauskyte (190-92) scored 8 points and 17 rebounds.
