There was no surprise in Tbilisi where 7th ranked Energy Invest (3-11) was crushed by fifth ranked MIA (8-5) 104-78 on Saturday. The game without a history. MIA led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. MIA shot 31 for 46 from the free-throw line, while Energy Invest only scored three points from the stripe. They outrebounded Energy Invest 46-30 including 17 on the offensive glass. MIA looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Energy Invest was plagued by 33 personal fouls down the stretch. Bosnian-Serbian center Mile Ilic (215-84, agency: Interperformances) fired 20 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. American guard Parrish Brown (185-84, college: Maryland) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Naturalized Russian center Giorgi Kvelashvili (206-81) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and point guard Davit Artsividze (178-83) added 15 points and 9 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
