The game in Trondheim supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Tromso (12-8) played at the court of 7th ranked Sverresborg (2-17). Tromso smashed Sverresborg 116-79 on Sunday. The game without a history. Tromso led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. Tromso forced 24 Sverresborg turnovers and outrebounded them 120-75 including a 44-30 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 37 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Tromso made 198 blocks. American power forward Mike St.John (203-84, college: La Salle, agency: Global Sports Plaza) fired a double-double by scoring 28 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. Bulgarian guard Kiril Raykov (192-87) chipped in 34 points (!!!). St.John is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Tromso players scored in double figures. Polish guard Adam Kilian (183-85) produced 32 points (made all of his eight free throws) and center Petter Wanvik (194-89) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Sverresborg's coach Ron Billingslea gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Tromso moved-up to third place, which they share with Asker Aliens and Froya Basket. Sverresborg lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the seventh position with 17 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
