No shocking result in a game when third ranked Hokkaido L. (29-16) smashed on the road 6th ranked Kumamoto V. (5-39) 109-63 on Sunday. The game without a history. Hokkaido L. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Kumamoto V.'s 26 and made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Kumamoto V. 51-24 including a 41-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Hokkaido L. looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Kumamoto V.'s players. American forward Jerome Tillman (201-87, college: Ohio, agency: KMG Sports Management) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. The other American import power forward Jameel Watkins (211-77, college: Georgetown) chipped in 19 points and 9 rebounds. Four Hokkaido L. players scored in double figures.
