Rather expected game when 5th ranked Hitachi Sunrockers (17-28) were defeated on the road by second ranked Wakayama T. (31-12) 88-76 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 50-37 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Wakayama T. outrebounded Hitachi Sunrockers 45-33 including a 33-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. American forward Michael Parker (202-81, college: Evergreen St.) fired a double-double by scoring 32 points and 22 rebounds for the winners.
