No shocking result in a game in S'Arenal where seventh ranked ASEFA Estudiantes (8-11) won against 9th ranked IF Air Europa (6-13) 67-63 on Sunday. IF Air Europa was trailing by 6 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 15-7 charge of ASEFA Estudiantes, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated on the defensive end, holding IF Air Europa to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Center Mariana Gonzalez (187-88) fired 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Center Elena Diaz (188-92) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Ieasia Walker (173, college: S.Carolina) produced 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Alejandra Quirante (165-92) added 14 points and 4 steals respectively for lost side. Four IF Air Europa players scored in double figures. ASEFA Estudiantes moved-up to sixth place in Group B, which they share with Leganes. IF Air Europa lost fourth consecutive game.
