Not a big story in a game in Manresa where 16th ranked La Bruixa d'Or (7-17) was edged by sixth ranked CAI Zaragoza (15-9) 74-71 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 37-31 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. CAI Zaragoza looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. La Bruixa d'Or was plagued by 37 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Michael Roll (197-87, college: UCLA) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 7 rebounds and Icelandic guard Jon Stefansson (192-82) who added 16 points during the contest. Loser La Bruixa d'Or dropped to the fifteenth position with 17 games lost. CAI Zaragoza will face Cajasol (#8) in Sevilla in the next round. La Bruixa d'Or will play on the road against Blancos de Rueda (#18) in Valladolid and hope to win that game.
