There was no surprise in Santa Fe where 9th ranked Union SF (7-10) was defeated by third ranked Instituto Cor. (10-7) 102-98 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 102-98. Union SF was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Pablo Bruna (185-87) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 5 assists and 4 steals and point guard Nicolas Zurschmitten (183-95) who added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side forward Mauro Cosolito (195-88) responded with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and center Alejandro Reinick (203-78) scored 21 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Instituto Cor. moved-up to second place, which they share with San Mart.C. and Sport Club. Union SF lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth position with ten games lost.
