Regular Season Round 23: 36ers - Tigers 99-94

An interesting game for Adelaide 36ers (18-10) which hosted in Findon 3rd placed Melbourne Tigers (15-13). Second ranked Adelaide 36ers managed to get a 5-point victory 99-94. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Melbourne Tigers. The hosts were already 16 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 28-17 Melbourne Tigers' run in the last quarter cut the lead to 99-94 at the end of the game. Adelaide 36ers made 33-of-39 charity shots (84.6 percent) during the game. Melbourne Tigers were plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for international power forward Daniel Johnson (212-88, college: Pepperdine) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 5 rebounds. The former international center Luke Schenscher (216-82, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Priority Sports) helped adding 18 points and 9 rebounds. Canadian center Scott Morrison (213-86, college: Portland St.) responded with 15 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Mustapha Farrakhan (193-88, college: Virginia) scored 13 points and 5 assists. Four Adelaide 36ers and five Melbourne Tigers players scored in double figures. Melbourne Tigers' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Adelaide 36ers maintains second place with 18-10 record having just three points less than leader Wildcats. Melbourne Tigers at the other side keep the third position with 13 games lost.
