Regular Season Round 22: Priolo - Ragusa 65-84

Date: March 23, 2014
There was no surprise when 11th ranked Priolo (3-17) was crushed at home by second ranked Ragusa (16-4) 84-65 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Ragusa. Priolo managed to win fourth quarter 16-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 18-of-19 free shots (94.7 percent) during the game. Naturalized Serbian guard Milica Micovic (182-84, agency: Players Group) scored 23 points (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and American power forward Ashley Walker (187-87, college: California, agency: Merit Management Group) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Ragusa players scored in double figures. Ragusa's coach Antonio Molino used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side the former international forward Simona Ballardini (181-81) responded with 22 points and 4 assists and American forward Amanda Dowe (193-91, college: Charlotte) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds.
