Very predictable result when second ranked San Giovanni (6-1) won against 7th ranked Muggia (1-6) in Sesto San Giovanni 61-44 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 61-44. San Giovanni dominated on the defensive end, holding Muggia to just 6 points in second quarter. They also forced 20 Muggia turnovers and outrebounded them 39-27 including 26 on the defensive glass. It was a very good performance for international swingman Cecilia Zandalasini (183-96, agency: Players Group) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 7 rebounds.
