Eredivisie top team - Groningen (27-4) added another victory to their record. This time they beat seventh ranked Leeuwarden (9-22) 81-75. Leeuwarden was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 40-32 second half run of Groningen. They outrebounded Leeuwarden 37-26 including 26 on the defensive glass.
