An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Tallinn. First ranked Kalev/Cramo faced second-ranked TU/Rock. Host Kalev/Cramo (26-2) defeated guests from Tartu (24-2) 87-77. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of TU/Rock. The game without a history. Kalev/Cramo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. U.S. Virgin Islands center Frank Elegar (208-86, college: Drexel) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 18 rebounds. Romanian forward Vlad-Sorin Moldoveanu (209-88, college: American) contributed with 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Kalev/Cramo players scored in double figures. The former international Janar Talts (205-83) replied with 19 points and 7 rebounds and Lithuanian guard Augustas Peciukevicius (192-91) added 13 points and 4 assists in the effort for TU/Rock. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Kalev/Cramo have an impressive nine-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 26-2 record. TU/Rock at the other side keeps the second place with two games lost. Kalev/Cramo will play against KK Parnu (#5) on the road in the next round. TU/Rock will play against KK Hito in Johvi and hopes to get back on the winning track.
