NBB top team - Flamengo (23-5) added another victory to their record on Thursday. This time they beat sixth ranked Unitri (18-12) in Rio de Janeiro 82-77. Unitri trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 21-15 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 77-82 at the end of the game. Flamengo made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. It was a quality performance for the former international Marquinhos Vieira (207-84) who led the winners and scored 25 points and 4 assists.
