Quarter-Finals Round 3: Bakken - Aalborg 98-78

Bakken claimed the third straight win against Aalborg and swept the quarterfinal series. The game without a history. Bakken led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Aalborg's players. Bakken brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. It was a good game for American forward Brandon Penn (203-90, college: Rider, agency: I.D.S. Law) who led his team to a victory with 24 points and 6 rebounds. International power forward Nicolai Iversen (205-80, college: San Jose City JC) contributed with 13 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Bakken players scored in double figures. Bakken's coach Ville Tuominen allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American swingman Hillary Haley (198-88, college: Md-E Shore) answered with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import forward Joe Burton (201-90, college: Oregon St.) added 21 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Aalborg.
