The game between fourth ranked Rubon (11-12) and 5th ranked Prinemanye (5-15) in Vitebsk on Friday ended with biggest points difference. Rubon outscored guests from Grodno 96-73. The game without a history. Rubon led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 25 Prinemanye turnovers and outrebounded them 44-29 including 16 on the offensive glass. Forward Victor Ovsepyan (204-91) notched 18 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and Yahor Patupchik (191-94) supported him with 19 points and 5 steals. Even 13 points and 7 rebounds by power forward Yurij Glebovich (203-83) did not help to save the game for Prinemanye. point guard Maksim Kutay (184-92) added 10 points. Four Prinemanye players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rubon maintains fourth position with 11-12 record. Prinemanye lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifth place with 15 games lost. Rubon will again meet at home Prinemanye (#5) in the next round. Prinemanye will have a break next round.
