Fourth-ranked Tochigi Brex (26-19) used its home court advantage to challenge first ranked Toshiba Thunders (39-6) on Saturday. The visitors from Kanagawa managed to secure only five-point victory 92-87. However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Tochigi Brex. The guests trailed by 8 points at the halftime before their 26-16 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. Toshiba Thunders have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 39-6 record. Tochigi Brex at the other side keeps the fourth position with 19 games lost. Toshiba Thunders will have a break next round. Tochigi Brex will play again at home against the league's leader Toshiba Thunders (#1) and hope to win that game.
