The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th ranked M.Magixx's (18-13) road loss to fourth ranked Zwolle (20-11) 71-75 on Saturday. M.Magixx was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Zwolle dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to M.Magixx's 28. American guard J.T. Tiller (191-88, college: Missouri) stepped up and scored 21 points and 4 assists for the winners and Surinamese forward Sergio de Randamie (201-84, college: Houston, agency: R.H.Consultancy) chipped in 12 points and 13 rebounds. Four Zwolle players scored in double figures. The former international forward Thijs Vermeulen (194-85) responded with 17 points and 8 rebounds and Indian-Canadian forward Robbie Sihota (198-87) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. Zwolle maintains fourth place with 20-11 record. M.Magixx at the other side keeps the fifth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Leiden. Zwolle are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Weert (#10) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. M.Magixx will have a break next round.
