Rather expected game when 12th ranked Universidad de Valladolid (2-18) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Aros Leon (8-12) 56-44 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 56-44. Aros Leon outrebounded Universidad de Valladolid 42-24 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was forward Teresa Lopez Perez (180-96) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Maria Garcia (185-85) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Clara Rodriguez Nunez produced 13 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Cristina Salinas (162-93) added 7 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests.
