Everything went according to plan when first ranked Aishin Sea Horses (35-11) outplayed on the road 5th ranked Hyogo S. (6-37) 94-66 on Saturday. The game without a history. Aishin Sea Horses led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Hyogo S.'s 24. They outrebounded Hyogo S. 36-23 including a 31-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Aishin Sea Horses especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Jamaican center Kevin Young (206-84, college: Missouri) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Ryoma Hashimoto (178-88) contributed with 13 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four Aishin Sea Horses players scored in double figures. Aishin Sea Horses' coach Kimikazu Suzuki felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American swingman William Knight (196-79, college: UCLA) answered with 30 points and 8 rebounds and guard Tadahiro Yanagawa (183-86) added 12 points in the effort for Hyogo S.Aishin Sea Horses maintains first place with 35-11 record. Hyogo S. lost their twentieth first game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the fifth position with 37 games lost. Aishin Sea Horses will have a break next round. Hyogo S. will play again at home against the league's leader Aishin Sea Horses (#1) and hope to win that game.
