Second Stage Round 7: Rubon - Prinemanye 91-73

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th ranked Prinemanye's (5-16) road loss to fourth ranked Rubon (12-12) 73-91. Prinemanye was ahead by 8 points at the halftime before a 54-28 second half run of Rubon. They also forced 21 Prinemanye turnovers and outrebounded them 43-29 including 18 on the offensive glass. Prinemanye was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Fedor Kryukov (181-88) who led the winners and scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Yahor Patupchik (191-94) accounted for 9 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Four Rubon players scored in double figures. Power forward Yurij Glebovich (203-83) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and center Artem Syrovatko (207-90) added 21 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) respectively for Prinemanye in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rubon moved-up to third place. Prinemanye lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifth position with 16 games lost. Rubon will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Prinemanye will play at home against the league's second-placed Borisfen (#2) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
