Ethias League round 27 caused change at the leadership position. Eighth defeat of league's leader Belfius Mons-Hainaut (19-8) against third ranked Oostende (19-7) 83-62 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Belfius Mons-Hainaut. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by Oostende. Belfius Mons-Hainaut managed to win third quarter 26-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They were replaced at the leadership position by Oostende. Belfius Mons-Hainaut will play next round against VOO Verviers-Pepinster trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Oostende will try to continue on its current victory against seventh ranked Leuven Bears at home.
