The game between closely ranked teams ended with 7th ranked Sverresborg's (2-19) road loss to sixth ranked Baerum Basket (12-9) 69-94 on Sunday. The game without a history. Baerum Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Sverresborg's 44. Baerum Basket forced 32 Sverresborg turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 43 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Baerum Basket made 122 blocks. It was a great evening for American forward Lukas Roesch (197-90, college: Nova SE) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 10 rebounds (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field). His fellow American import forward Austin Steed (203-88, college: E.Carolina) helped adding 16 points and 15 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Earl Simba with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 20 rebounds and Polish guard Adam Kilian (183-85) scored 23 points and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sverresborg's coach Ron Billingslea gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Defending champion maintains sixth place with 12-9 record. Sverresborg lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the seventh position with 19 games lost.
