Regular Season Round 27: FCM Ferentino - Forli 86-67

Date: March 30, 2014
Not a big story in a game when 15th ranked Forli (9-17) was rolled over on the road by eighth ranked FCM Ferentino (14-13) 86-67. The game was mostly controlled by FCM Ferentino. Forli was better in fourth quarter 19-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 24 personal fouls committed by Forli helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American swingman Rodney Green (196-88, college: La Salle) who led his team to a victory with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import center William Mosley (202-89, college: Northwestern St., agency: Pro One Sports) contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. FCM Ferentino's coach Franco Gramenzi allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American power forward Tyler Cain (203-88, college: S.Dakota) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds and forward Davide Rosignoli (203-88) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Forli. FCM Ferentino moved-up to seventh place, which they share with CZG Veroli and C.de Latte BRE. Forli at the other side keeps the fifteenth position with 17 games lost. FCM Ferentino's next round opponent will be Napoli Basket (#12) on the road which should be theoretically an easy game. Forli will play against Angelico Biella and hope to win that game.
