Very expected game when 13th ranked Hod Hasharon (5-20) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Ironi Kiryat Ata (12-13) 90-84 on Tuesday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 46-33 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Four Hod Hasharon players scored in double figures. Hod Hasharon's coach Avner Yeor tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Ironi Kiryat Ata have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Hod Hasharon lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with 20 games lost. Ironi Kiryat Ata will face Kiryat Tivon (#11) in Kiryat Tivon in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
