An interesting game took place in Poitiers, where 6th ranked ALM Evreux (20-17) lost to ninth ranked Poitiers (19-18) in a road game 66-76 on Tuesday. The hosts trailed by 12 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 10 points. American-Dominican swingman Jeff Greer (196-79, college: Rutgers) fired 25 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Kevin Harley (193-94) chipped in 15 points. American guard B.A. Walker (188-84, college: VCU, agency: Pro One Sports) produced 16 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import forward Samme Givens (198-89, college: Drexel) added 20 points respectively for lost side. ALM Evreux's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Poitiers moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Hyeres-Toulon. Loser ALM Evreux keeps the sixth position with 17 games lost. Poitiers will face Nantes (#14) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
