There was a small surprise when fourteenth ranked Cognac BB (12-18) won against at home 12th ranked Lourdes-Tarbes (12-16) 88-81 on Tuesday. The hosts trailed by 16 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 7 points. Serbian forward Dejan Sencanski (198-84, college: Abil.Christian) orchestrated the victory by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds. point guard Maxime Choplin (177-92) contributed with 19 points for the winners. American-Dutch center Brian Freeman (208-86, college: Long Beach St., agency: R.H.Consultancy) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds and the former international guard Xane Dalmeida (183-83) added 15 points and 7 assists in the effort for Lourdes-Tarbes.
